This painting was created over an old acrylic painting. The original artwork had lived for 20 years in an Andalusian villa, and underneath my painting was a delicate image of a woman.
The paintings were on their way to the landfill when they found their way to me and inspired this new life.
Was it a call? A call from something mysterious, a voice from the desert?
That is for each of us to decide.
