Desert Radio is part of my Recycle Collection. The painting was rescued from an old Andalusian house, where it was on its way to the landfill. The canvas originally featured flowers painted in acrylic, but these paintings still wanted a new life and a little more colour. Eventually, they found their way into my hands.
Desert Radio was born from the idea of creating a companion piece for Desert Call, because music has a way of awakening our inner creativity and imagination.
Music can even make our cells come together and create beautiful, mandala-like patterns. Or could those patterns actually be emotions? That's for everyone to wonder about.
